Devil's club is my favorite herb for experiencing clear, protective boundaries. Do you have someone in your life who "drives you crazy"? It sounds like maybe you need better emotional or energetic boundaries. That way you don't allow this person to affect you so much--you don't give them the power to sway your emotions. One way to create a stronger energetic field is with devil's club. This herb was historically used to give strong boundaries and a sense of protection. I recommend trying small doses first, about 5 drops is a good starting point. You can take more if needed. Sometimes taking too much can make people feel a little aggressive.

Other options if you are stressed this month due to the eclipse energies: Mother's Little Helper tea. And...if you are tempted to do drugs or drink more than is good for you: The Social

Now, the details on the Solar Eclipse in Taurus, 4/30/22:

The new moon, which is also a solar eclipse, will be exact at 10 degrees of Taurus on Saturday, April 30th at 1:30 pm PST and 4:30 pm ET.

Expect the unexpected.

This solar eclipse is a very potent new moon in the earth sign, Taurus. It is in close proximity to the planet Uranus, at 14 degrees, adding unpredictability to the day's events and changes that are initiated on this day. If you want to give a little more direction to the new moon energy, try setting an intention about your daily life, garden, cooking, or other Taurean activities that are new AND adventurous! Or something that disrupts everything routine in your life for greater aesthetics and refinement. By working with the astrological archetypes we can co-create instead of being guided by fateful events.

The eclipse is sextile Mars in Pisces. This adds complementary energy to the new moon, although actions are likely to be indirect (like Pisces).  Since this is in the sign of Taurus you could expect disruptions to your daily routines, sense of comfort, or stability. You could have dramatic changes in your living situation or finances. Some astrologers say the effects of an eclipse can take up to 6 months to manifest, but the seed was planted during the eclipse. It is entirely possible for dramatic changes to occur that are positive! They could open the door to more creativity, aesthetic enjoyment (Taurus/Taurus supported by Pisces), or perhaps a more pleasing lifestyle that could not come without disrupting your current routine. Uranus loves to shake things up, but its agenda is about moving forward and progress. Uranus has a more objective handle on things and is not afraid to disrupt everything to offer fresh alternatives. Keep an open mind...if something unfortunate or unexpected happens, shout "plot twist" and observe for silver linings or unearthed gold.

The north node is in Taurus as well, at 22 degrees. The nodes are our axis of fate and destiny, Saturn is square to them. The south node is always opposite the north, currently, it is in Scorpio. This is a fixed T-square--I see this as heads locking. We will be able to tap into greater focus and determination--there is also the temptation to be very inflexible and stubborn. I often employ putting energy into the sign across from the squaring planet to relieve T-square pressure. In this case that is Leo. If you are creative or love performing, you may wish to indulge this side of yourself right now. It may be more fun than trying to wrestle with the other fixed minds out there.

On a more positive note, the north node is sextile a beautiful Jupiter/Venus/Neptune conjunction. Venus is exalted in Pisces, the beauty and gracious, loving qualities of Pisces enhance Venus' attributes. Neptune and Jupiter are the day and night rulers of Pisces. This trio is also sextile Pluto in Capricorn. There are always risks to Pisces energy because it can be prone to self-delusion and desire to escape. If you have those tendencies, be on guard. However, this is really ripe with potential. It is a once-in-a-lifetime astrological event that can bring much more awareness of beauty, grace, spirituality, and nonmaterial value. What value can be assigned to generosity? It is more than a gift. What value can be assigned to singing the truth? To be beautiful and honest at the same time is true art.

Jupiter expands whatever it touches. It amplifies the femininity and softness of Venus and Neptune. The connection with Pluto in Capricorn may allow some more charitable laws (Jupiter with Neptune in Pisces) to be made or enforced, in areas where we have seen corruption (Pluto in Capricorn). As Pluto finishes its journey through Capricorn over the next year and a half, showing us all sorts of corruption in powerful authorities, we may see some gifts of the transit. The south node going through Scorpio wants to unearth and expel Scorpionic waste (ruled by Pluto). This is often related to sexual acts and abuses of power. With Venus (related to the feminine) conjunct Jupiter in such a favorable position, we may actually see some compassionate/charitable (Pisces and Neptune) legal benefit (Jupiter) to females (Venus). This could have the benefit of bringing more prosperity to women in their daily lives (north node in Taurus). By respecting and honoring women's bodies, we learn to do the same for the Earth and vice versa. They are not there for the taking.

Although eclipses are often difficult and intense, I see a lot of potential in this one. Hold on to your hat and stay positive.
