A traditional lucid dreaming practice is to meditate on the Tibetan letter A. Read about it in Tenzin Wangyal Rimpoche’s book Tibetan Yogas of Sleep and Dream. This was the first book I read of dreaming. I highly recommend it. The letter he describes is more colorful and detailed. This is just a reminder of the practice, not for gazing.
