This video explores our plant ally, peony. Paeonia lactiflora and P. officinalis are less commonly used in Western herbalism these days, but they have excellent reputations from ancient European herbalism, Chinese medicine, and Ayurvedic medicine. This herb helps support the liver (fire), the brain, and gynecological/hormonal health.
This class is part of the Freedom Quilt Teachings series, intended to empower individuals and helpers — including therapists, herbalists, and community workers — with traditional plant knowledge.
