Add a little beauty to your ritual and avoid smoking anything more than amazing organic herbs. I love these handmade chilams.
A chillum, or chilam, is a straight conical pipe with end-to-end channel, traditionally made of clay and used since at least the eighteenth century by hindu monks, known as sadhus in India. The use of chillums quickly spread to the rest of the world in the 1960s.
Simply place your dry material in the small bowl and you're ready to go. The bowl size isn't too big or too small. Allowing you to get the maximum burn from your dry material. Perfect for travel as it fits in your pocket. The average length of our pipes is 4.5in to 5in.
Each pipe is handmade with love and care by Permanent Decadence out of Vermont. Each bowl is hand formed and each hole is created by hand. The decorations are a mixture of handprinted images and vintage 1970s English decals, they are meticulously applied by hand. The pipes are fired four times to achieve their distinctive feel and look. They reach a top temperature of 2300F so they are made to last. They can be cleaned like any glass pipe.
